Are You Spiritually Mature Yet?

Sometimes, we are 'tested'. Not to show our weaknesses, but to discover our strengths. These tests help us to mature spiritually. 


If you can take your troubles as they come, if you can maintain your calm and composure amid pressing duties and unending engagements, if you can rise above the distressing and disturbing circumstances in which you are set down, you have discovered a priceless secret of daily living that few people have. 


Even if you are forced to go through life weighed down by some unescapable misfortune or handicap and yet live each day as it comes with poise and peace of mind, you have succeeded where most people have failed. You have wrought a greater achievement than a person who rules a nation. Have you achieved poise, equanimity, and peace of mind? Are you spiritually mature yet? This is how you can tell...


Spiritual maturity


What is spiritual maturity?


Galatians 4:19 states "My little children, for whom I am again in the anguish of childbirth until Christ is formed in you! Oh, my dear children! I feel as if I'm going through labour pains for you again, and they will continue until Christ is fully developed in your lives." Transformation is the giving birth to your saviour, and that saviour is you.


The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Galatians, expressed his intense desire for the believers in Galatia to grow in their spiritual maturity. He likened his longing to the pains of childbirth, emphasising the depth of his passion for their spiritual growth. His goal was not just for them to accept Christ but for Christ to be formed in them. This is the ultimate goal of spiritual maturity - for Christ to be formed in us, for His nature and character to be reflected in our lives. This is how you deflate your ego and expand your soul.


Spiritual maturity is not a destination but a journey. It's a process of continual growth and transformation. It's about becoming more like Christ in our thoughts, attitudes, and actions. It's about allowing God's Word to shape us and mold us into the image of Christ. It's time to invoke your 'God-Mode.'...

I have a Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences from Trinity College, Cambridge; a Master's Degree in Philosophy from Trinity College, Cambridge; a PhD Doctorate in Scientific Research from University College London (UCL); a Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) from The Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, London and have been a doctor and reconstructive trauma and cancer surgeon in London for 20 years. I have a number of other higher qualifications in science and surgery. I have published over 50 peer reviewed PubMed cited scientific journal articles, have been an associate editor and frequent scientific faculty member, and am the author of several scientific books. I have been awarded my Diploma in Transformative Life Coaching in London, which has International Coaching Federation (ICF) Accreditation, as well as the UK Association for Coaching (AC), and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). I have been on my own transformative journey full time for over five years and I am ready to be your guide to you finding out who you really are and how the world works.
