Beyond The Illusion: Awakening To Consciousness

Albert Einstein said that “Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.” He also said “Go out in Nature and you will find that reality is the ultimate manifestation of love. Reality is you and all of Nature's kind. It is very real. It is true love. Because all of Nature is a manifestation of love. And that includes you.” Love is another word for energy, your Higher Power, or God. What an incredible statement for the world’s most famous scientist to say. Einstein was also a spiritual Master. He understood that matter and energy are the same this – all matter is made up of energy. And that energy is God. Spirituality may be built on science. Einstein encapsulated this in science’s most famous equation E (energy) = M (mass) x C (the speed of light) squared. So, everything is made of light/energy.

Eckhart Tolle said that "The awakening of consciousness is the next evolutionary step for mankind."

The foundation of life is consciousness. Eckhart Tolle said that "The awakening of consciousness is the next evolutionary step for mankind." Scientists are a hair’s breadth away from consciousness when they study quantum physics. But you can never discover or understand consciousness with the mind (the ego). Consciousness is who you are, not what you’re looking at: That’s like trying to find consciousness by looking at your Self in a mirror. What they are finding is getting close to what the great spiritual Masters found when they went into deep meditation. Both quantum physicists and spiritual Masters are converging, teaching you that there is nothing there: No matter, just energy, in the form of vibration. There are no atoms or subatomic particles: When the quantum physicists accelerate particles in several mile long colliders and break them apart, the deeper they go all they find is energy vibrations: A void. There is nothing there. The closest you get to it is that it is not what you see. If you get up close to a flat screen TV all you see is pixels – dots – photons made up of energy. Is there a movie there or a dot there? If you have water in your hands do you have H2O, or atoms, subatomic particles, or energy and vibrations in a void? The movie is an illusion. The fact that you only see the illusion all the time is where the ego comes from. The great Masters teach that you have senses and they pick up those particles, and they are averaged and you see the movie in your mind. This is an illusory Universe inside your head. You just fell from reality. What is real is energy. What you see is a movie in your head.

Deepest spirituality dares you not to believe in the illusion. There are no things. The scientists have found this too. There is just a void: Just vibrations of energy. They are wavelets or fields, just like when a leaf creates wavelets as they fall into water. Spirituality lives in this reality. This is what the Yogis taught in the Upanishads (a series of Hindu sacred treatises written in Sanskrit c. 800–200 BC, expounding the Vedas): There is just vibration. The Upanishads deal with meditation, philosophy, consciousness, and ontology (which relates to the branch of metaphysics dealing with the nature of BEing). The scientists are close to what the great Masters have taught for three millennia.

Genesis 1:3 states “And the Earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, ‘Let there be light’: And there was light.”

Quantum scientists have found that this void/energy/light is omnipresent throughout the Universe. Everything in the Universe comes out of those fields of energy. Scientists are starting to use the term omnipresent. You see, science and spirituality are so close now. There remains no reason to be an atheist. Carl Jung, the psychiatrist and spiritual Master said “I know God.” If it’s good enough for Carl Jung and Albert Einstein, it’s good enough for me.

God is omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient. Omnipresent means (of God) to be present everywhere at the same time. Omnipotent means (of a deity) having unlimited power. God is described as omnipotent and benevolent. Omniscient means knowing everything.

The fact that scientists are using the word omnipresent to describe the Universe suggests a blurring of the boundary between science and spirituality. Everything in the Universe comes out of those fields described above. The fields are omnipotent. God is the energy. Consciousness is the energy. Consciousness is the field. If you ask scientists what is the quantum field they will say it's not their job to explain that: So, they are stopping just short of awakening to consciousness, as their minds come from ego. The unmanifested form of Brahman is the state of nothingness or absolute reality: It is the essential nature from which all existence arises. How close does this sound to what the scientists have found? Very close! It's just that scientists don't want to call this consciousness or God. The Yogis knew that this is a field of consciousness thousands of years ago: They stopped having their attention distracted and went back to consciousness itself and they experienced themselves as the Universe - as that field. The word yoga means 'union'. When Paramahansa Yogananda experienced this he felt himself merge with the Universe. It means union of the individual Self, your soul, with the whole Universe. This results in a total loss of ego, which represents separateness. When they asked Meher Baba "Who are you?" he said "I was there in the beginning before all else was created. I will be there in the end after all else falls away. There was never a time that I was not and there will never be a time that I am not." In other words "I am that I am".

According to the Hebrew Bible, in the encounter of the burning bush (Exodus 3:14), Moses asks what he is to say to the Israelites when they ask what gods ('Elohiym) have sent him to them, and YHWH replies, "I AM WHO I AM", adding, "Say this to the people of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.”

The word Om is defined by Hindu scripture as being the primordial sound of creation. It is the original vibration of the Universe, in other words the Big Bang, which came and created the Universe. From this first vibration, all other vibrations are able to manifest. The quantum field is made of energy vibrations. God is these vibrations. The Yogis knew all this before the Large Hadron Collider, the world's largest and most powerful particle accelerator: It consists of a 27-kilometre ring of superconducting magnets. The Yogis achieved this through meditation. They let go of what they were conscious of, so that they melted back into consciousness itself and they are that field. Christ said in John 10:30 that "I and the Father are one." That's the merger! There is your whole foundation of spirituality. You can train your mind to think about Truth: Jesus said in John 8:32 "And you will know the Truth and the Truth will set you free." You will have expanded your mind beyond your personal self. Why? Because your personal mind (the ego) is just a tiny part of what your whole mind is capable of. You can have high level thoughts that are very close to God. This is what is taught in the wisdom of yoga. When you look at Nature, or indeed anything, you are simply seeing vibrations in the quantum field. That is physics, and that is spirituality. You have to bring your mind up to that level and see the Truth. There is nothing drawing you away from your Self as you are not caught up in your false self (the ego).

Yoga teaches that the purified mind is no different than the Self. This is consciousness devoid of thought. There is a spiritual equation that states: Man minus the non-purified mind equals God. The thoughts, beliefs, and emotions in your personal mind are the sum of our learned experiences: This is the science of psychology according to Sigmund Freud. This is the development of the self-concept. This is not the soul. It’s self with a small ‘s’: In other words, the ego, which builds personal worried thoughts, resulting in anxiety. A self-concept is a set of thoughts who I say that I am. This does not come from the purified mind. So, again, consciousness, the purified mind, is devoid of thoughts and also beliefs and emotions. Your ego is a set of thoughts that you stitched together. You are consciousness, not the sum of your learned experiences.

God is the Universal consciousness creating all things. He created everything from the vibration of his own BEing. You are the emissary, the ambassador of God, in order to experience the moment that he created and he wants to see that moment.

There are so many spiritual teachings. Ultimately, what they all teach is that there is only one problem in this world: The ego.

So, what do you do about all this? Raise your thoughts. Work on your Self. Let God be God. Pray “Thy will, not mine be done.”

The step 3 prayer says “God, I offer myself to Thee – to build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self, that I may better do Thy will. Take away my difficulties, that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of Life. May I do Thy will always!” The point is to let go. Get out of God’s will.

All is well. Stop selling your Self short. You can let go of ego. There is a God and I am not it. Drop the EGO – Edging God Out. You have the right in every moment of your life to stop leaving God. The problem is do you are focusing on your self and the rubbish experiences that you decided to collect and store it there - like a photo album of bad photographs. This creates your thoughts, beliefs, and emotions; likes and dislikes; and creates good and bad; and right and wrong; all of which are false constructs. How can there be duality when all there is are vibrations of energy?

The secret to joy, peace, and love, is to remain open and simply observe without judgement through non-resistance. Don’t fight the world to try to get it to match your preferences. You will never beat the Universe. The only way to win a losing battle is to let go and surrender. Meditation stops you being distracted by your thoughts. You are liberating your mind so that your thoughts are no longer personal. At some point you will go into spiritual bliss, as you can see the field of vibration, in other words God. That is the basis of yoga. If you are not creating personal thoughts that are disturbing and distracting you down into them you will allow your consciousness to expand to what it is capable of.

This article explains how quantum physics can help us to understand Truth and consciousness, even if scientists stop just before that understanding. Take a breath, and go really deep into spirituality. It will give you the clarity to handle all your problems in life. Just be here now. Let experiences just go through you and simply witness them and allow all your inner blockages to be cleared by the energy flow inside of you, called the Shakti in Hinduism. What makes the negative experience stay in one person and go through the other? The answer is resistance. This is also known as clinging. Spirituality is dealing with the art of letting go of thoughts, beliefs, and emotions. Keep saying "I can handle it" to your Self, and this means that you don't try to push it away and bury it inside of you. Freud called it suppression, suppression, or denial. The spiritual term is resistance. Spirituality is when you can handle a situation that you used to have to resist. Let go instead of resisting. So, it doesn't get stored inside of you and you are no longer the sum of your learned experiences. Relax and release. Use your energy for something higher than the fear of survival. This is first chakra stuff. It's called transmutation.

So, you can see from this article that the science of psychology, physics, and spirituality are all metaphors for the same thing that are getting closer and closer to Truth. Don't get caught in your experiences and be distracted by form from you: You are the witness. You are the consciousness that is aware of those things. You are not your experiences.

I used to define myself by my job as a doctor, my achievements, my accolades, my CV, etc. Now I know that I am pure consciousness looking down at itself: This is the origin of the mantra "That though art". If you live like this you will drop into meditation. Interact with the world with love, compassion, and understanding. This is the essence of the Bhagavad Gita: Let God/Universal consciousness rule the world. Get out of your own way. These are also the teaching of the Buddha, Christ, and the Dalai Lama. This is the highest path. Stop identifying with your ego. The ego says "I am not ok; so what do I need to do to make it better inside?" You are the only one inside; stop trying to change the world to make it better inside. Stop trying to get external validation. Stop trying to get likes on social media! You have the right to use every moment of your life to stop leaving God. Let go of the rubbish. Raise your Self.

Namaste.

Sending you love, light, and blessings brothers.
