For my 150th article I thought I would discuss success. Here is the key to success: Enjoy the love of creating rather than trying to satisfy any sense of lack. The Universe will send you everything you need...
The bridge to success
In the Bible in Matthew 6:33 it states “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you“. This means to do the inner work of transformation and focus on BEing and the having will then follow from the doing, which will follow on from your BEing. Aristotle said "Knowing your Self is the beginning of all wisdom." Enlightenment is simply becoming who you truly are. It’s a total change in your character and psyche from your ego to your real Self, also called a spiritual experience or spiritual awakening. Carl Jung said that it’s a “Huge emotional rearrangement.” A complete transformation.
Enlightenment is not a destination. It’s a Grace that we have access to. In that journey we can create. Mark Twain wrote ”The two most important dates in your life are the day you were born & the day you find out why”.
We are made of what we are looking for: We are made of fulfilment and abundance. We are already made of the things that we think we will get when we achieve success. When we create from this place, we share that with the world. We are conditioned and trained to look away from this place for our validation and success. We are told, from a very early age, by our parents, society, and marketing strategies that we are not enough.
The secret to success is unnameable - it is the ‘X factor’, which means it can’t be put into words: Creativity is a feeling. For me it’s my 'special Olly sauce'. I can feel it when I am in a creative place and I am transformed by my inner work being aligned to my outer purpose (why I was born), and having walked the path.
Be your Self. Simply create in line with your purpose. You will know when you are doing this as you will get a surge of healthy energy and feel peace, love, and joy. You will be deeply touched and moved. When you leave this place and step onto the treadmill of the world you stop creating and success becomes out of reach. You start looking for affirmation outside of you instead of loving the joy of creating.
In Romans 12:2 it states “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Change your perception and you will change your world. Break the mold, and take off the mask of your false self.
When we come from lack it’s a double bind. Firstly we pray for “I want…” and so the Universe sends us “I want” - in other words, more lack. Secondly, every needy ask involves attachment to the outcome, and any ask becomes imbued with meaning such as “Am I worthy?” and “Am I good enough? rather than asking for a simple yes or no. If you get a 'no' it's nothing to do with you.
So the key to success is to create, fuelled by your emotions, connect with your true Self and do the inner work, and don't be attached to outcomes.
Most people never create. But you can, now that you know how the world and the Universe work. Real change is effortless: It's not daily grind, determination, willpower, or Hustle Culture.
We are all connected to source and timeless wisdom. We simply need to learn to tap into our intuition. Who you are is the creative potential of the entire Universe. We all are. There is never any need for imposter syndrome. That's just a case of mistaken identity. Again, that's simply parental and societal conditioning.
You are not a shell, you are that which animates the shell. As Pierre Teilhard de Chardin wrote "We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual BEings having a human experience."It's time to invoke your 'God Mode.' The ego is who we think we are. The soul is who we truly are. Why play so big, when you are not so small?
Henri Matisse says that "Creativity takes courage." Expressing our emotional landscape is the healthiest and bravest thing that we can do.
Jesus said, according to Mark 8:36, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
You are a miracle maker. Even Einstein says that you can be. A miracle is where you can't see the cause and effect. But it doesn't mean that it's not there. A miracle is a shift in perception from fear to love. Things are possible beyond our imagination. Just don't think too small. The Universe has your back...
